Our Mission

Sustainable Williston (formerly Williston Green Initiatives) is an open, grassroots group of Willistonians who identify opportunties to decrease our town’s consumption of natural resources and to create sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.

Our Goals

• Reduce the carbon footprint of town buildings and departments through the professional energy audit process.
• Implement tax and development incentives through which the town can encourage adoption of green methods and technologies.
• Identify and promote information and resources that Williston residents, schools, businesses, and town government can use to lower their energy consumption and use more renewable energy.
